About Me
I took a career path test in High School and it told me I should be a Farmer... ever since I'v been trying to figure out "what I want to be when I grow up" because somehow I knew the farming thing wasn't quite right. I've always had a passion for photography and if I had a dollar for every time someone told me how "super creative" I am then I wouldn't even have to worry about a career. Photography seems like a no-brainer, but somehow I never put the two together. To me, photography was always wedding photography and wedding photgraphy is summer weekends which conflicts with drinking Blue Moons on a patio over-looking the ocean every chance I get :)
A couple of years ago a friend who thinks I am "super creative", asked me to use her DSLR to take some pictures of her daughters first birthday and I realized then that photography could be the career I have been searching for. I LOVED it! I had no clue what I was doing but I LOVED it. I was capturing moments that were otherwise gone forever, how awesome?!? I borrowed her camera a few more times over the years until I finally took the plunge and purchased my own. I've taken a few classes, tagged along with some photographer friends and now I'm jumping in!
I have a ton to learn and at times its super overwhelming but my dream is to be a child and family photgrapher that strangers trust enough to capture moments they can only relive through my photos. I would love to someoday have a studio out of my house and spend my whole day doing something that I actually love! If you're interested in helping me grow my portfolio then "get in touch" for more information!
